Credit repair in Fort Worth, from a Fort Worth crew.

We pull up your three reports, go line by line, and dispute what looks wrong. All of it by phone or video. You never drive anywhere.

What does credit repair in Fort Worth actually look like?

It starts with your reports, not a sales pitch. Wrong balances. Accounts that are not yours. Late marks that never happened. Old debts still showing past their reporting window. Those are the targets.

Then we send disputes to the bureaus and to the company reporting the item. Most files need more than one round. This takes months, not days.

You can pull all three reports free, every week, at AnnualCreditReport.com. The FTC says it is the only site authorized to fill those orders. Anything else asking for a card is not it.

Buying a home in Fort Worth? Know the city's HAP program.

The City of Fort Worth runs a Homebuyer Assistance Program, called HAP. The city says it offers up to $25,000 toward a down payment and closing costs, as a forgivable loan, for a home inside Fort Worth city limits.

Per the city, you must be a first-time buyer, or not have owned a home in the last three years. Household income has to fall at or under 80% of the area median. You take an eight-hour homebuyer class with a HUD-certified agency, at no cost. And you apply through a lender on the city's HAP list, not straight to the city.

The city's HAP page does not list a minimum credit score. Your lender still has to qualify you for the first mortgage, and that is where your report matters. We help you find and dispute report errors before the lender looks. The city and the lender decide who qualifies. Not us.

Rules and dollar amounts change. Check the city's page before you plan around it, or call Fort Worth Neighborhood Services at 817-392-7395.

Sued over a debt in Tarrant County?

Debt collectors can file a debt claim case in a Tarrant County Justice of the Peace court. The county lists eight of them, numbered 1 through 8. It says these cases can be for no more than $20,000, not counting statutory interest and court costs. The county's court pages link an address lookup that shows which precinct covers you.

Do not ignore the papers. TexasLawHelp.org says your answer in a justice court debt case is due 14 days after you are served, and filing an answer is free. If you do not respond, the other side can ask for a default judgment.

We are not a law firm, and we cannot answer a lawsuit for you. If you get served, talk to a lawyer or a legal aid office first. Then call us about what that debt is doing to your report.

Do I have to come to an office?

No. We are based in Fort Worth and we work by phone or video, start to finish. You book a free call first. Report access comes later, before any dispute work starts, not before we talk.

What we can and can't do

We can read every line of all three reports with you. We can dispute the items that look inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable, and follow up round after round. We can walk you toward business credit when you are ready.

We can't promise a score. We can't make accurate, current information go away. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. We are not a lender, and we do not decide who gets a loan. Results vary.

Federal law gives you three business days after you sign a credit repair contract to cancel it, without penalty or obligation.

Do you have a Fort Worth office I can walk into?

There is no storefront to visit. We are based in Fort Worth and work by phone or video, so you never drive anywhere.

Will fixing my report get me into Fort Worth's HAP program?

We can't promise that. HAP has its own income and first-time buyer rules, and the lender decides on the mortgage. What we can do is help you find and dispute report errors before the lender looks.

Bad credit is a cage. It was never a life sentence.
